Does anyone know how the Bible was translated into Spanish? Sometimes I think someone took the English version, probably KJV, and translated it. Or was it translated from ancient text?

The English Bible went through various stages before it became available--Tyndale was the main force for getting the Bible in English, against the will of the Catholic Church. Tyndale's version was heavily used by the KJV translators. The KJV was the first widely available English Bible.
